LENOVO PHAB With 6.98-inch Display and 4250mAh Battery

Lenovo recently launched its new hybrid smartphone called Lenovo Phab in India. Lenovo phab is the lite version of the Lenovo Phab Plus smartphone that was launched in October last year in India. The Lenovo Phab is for now exclusively available via Flipkart. It is expected that the smartphone will soon be retailing in other countries.

Memory lane: The Lenovo Phab phablet was first unveiled at IFA 2015, while its higher-specie sibling was introduced in China a few days before.


The dual-SIM (both Micro-SIM) Lenovo Phab cruises on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and packs a 6.98-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, boasts of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 64GB through microSD card. The earlier variant first unveiled last year featured 1GB of RAM.

For your camera-shooting pleasure, Lenovo Phab bears a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies. The Lenovo Phab features 4G LTE support for countries with LTE networks. It also packs Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The most of its footprint is made by its fitted 4250mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time, and up to 20 days of standby time, hence, you can call it Mr. Endurance. The company is also touting Dolby Atmos audio technology.

By wight, Lenovo Phab weighs 250gm, and measures 186x97x8.9mm. Currently the smartphone comes only in its Tuxedo Black colour variant, though it was launched globally with Aqua Blue, and Polar White colour variants as well.
The phone also features the following sensors: an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and digital compass.
