Job Details

To maximize availability and performance of rental assets. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Minimise equipment under repair & awaiting inspection.
2. Comply with Aggreko servicing schedules and procedures.
3. Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with ‘Green Card’ procedure.
4. Ensure all work performed reports are approved by client (on site) and are legibly produced.
5. Ensure immediate response and minimal disruption to client’s requirements.
6. Ensure good housekeeping of work area and service vehicle.
7. Maintain a minimum spares level in service vehicle as per procedures.
8. Effective troubleshooting to minimise downtime and unnecessary repair costs.
9. Customer satisfaction externally & internally.
10. Compliance to QHSE & ISO 9000 Policy and Procedures.
11. Compliance with 24 hour call – out policy.
12. Reporting all utilised stock items form depot stores.
13. Ensure all installations are carried out to Aggreko service manual standards.
14. Ensure quality of workmanship to maintain and enhance performance of equipment
15. Reporting on competitor activity visible on customer’s site(s).
16. Maintain and enhance relationships and communication on site with client.
17. Report any fuel spills, incidents or issues within the policy of QHSE.
18. Desired Skills and Experience

• Recognised qualification of Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous Experience with Cummins/CAT/Scania/Wartsila/FG Wilson Diesel/Gas/HFO Generator engines.
• Preference to candidates with AC & DC Loadbank and HV experience.
• Effective troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Good Communication skills - must be able to complete reports legibly
• Possession of driving license essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also on own initiative.
• Good command of English language, spoken and written
• Current driving license
